The noise from laminate flooring is caused by various reasons including irregular subfloor horizontality, foreign substance and air moisture. In general, the high temperature and humidity during the rainy season cause expansion on the joint part of the flooring and this cause rustling sound.

It is important to ventilate inside house constantly and maintain indoor moisture at 50~60% to reduce the noise. Accordingly, if the moisture in your house is high during summer, turn on heating system to reduce the moisture and the noise will decrease a lot.
